OathPathTerms of Service

These terms apply to the OathPath app (“the app”) made by NextAppFactory LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the app, you agree to them.
1. What OathPath is
OathPath helps you keep track of your USCIS case and prepare for the U.S. naturalization (citizenship) test. It is a study and tracking aid.
2. What OathPath is not
- Not legal advice. Nothing in the app is legal advice, and it does not replace an immigration attorney or accredited representative.
- Not USCIS. OathPath is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to USCIS or the U.S. government.
- Not a filing service. We do not submit anything to USCIS for you.
3. Case status and processing times
Case status shown in the app comes either from you or from the official USCIS Case Status API. Status can be delayed, incomplete or out of date, and the plain-language explanations and processing-time estimates are general information written by us, not official guidance. Always confirm your status, deadlines and requirements with USCIS. We do not guarantee any processing time or outcome.
4. Study content
Civics questions and answers come from the official USCIS civics tests (2008 and 2025 versions), which are in the public domain. Answers that depend on current officeholders change over time; the app points you to official sources to check them. Reading and writing practice sentences are written by us from the official USCIS vocabulary lists. Practice results do not predict how you will do at your interview.
5. OathPath Pro
Pro removes ads and unlocks extra features. It is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, at the price shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payments, refunds and cancellations are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. A lifetime purchase made before October 9, 2026 stays valid.
6. Acceptable use
Use OathPath for your own immigration journey or to help family members with theirs. Do not misuse the app, try to disrupt or overload our service, reverse engineer it, or resell it.
7. Your information
How the app handles information is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on the app, or for indirect or consequential damages. Your naturalization process is between you and USCIS.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above; continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
