Common questions

Where do I find my receipt number?

It is on your USCIS receipt or approval notice (Form I-797), near the top left: three letters followed by ten numbers, for example IOE 091 234 5678.

The status in the app doesn’t match the USCIS website.

The USCIS website is always the official source. Open the case in the app and tap Status look wrong? Tell us so we can look into it.

Which civics test will I take?

If you filed Form N-400 on or after October 20, 2025, you take the 2025 test (128 questions). If you filed before, you take the 2008 test (100 questions). The app picks the right one from your filing date; you can change it in Settings → Civics test version.

How do I restore my Pro purchase?

Settings → Purchases → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple account you bought it with.

How do I delete my data?

Settings → Your data → Delete all data. Your information is stored on your phone, so this removes it completely.
